The learner experience

A little curiosity. A lasting understanding.

In this focused condensation chapter of the water-cycle concept, learners start with an empty board, arrange concept cards, connect and label processes, and type an explanation or explain aloud without recording. They save a first draft, consider authored review questions, then revise or keep their explanation with a reason. A new question about a cold glass completes the experience; the work can be printed and its evidence downloaded as JSON.

Imagine this moment

My diagram preview follows the learner's own connections and labels without correcting them. Compare the first draft with the revised or reaffirmed explanation.

Learning & evidence

The learning objective

Create and revise an explanation of condensation, connect a diagram to your words, and apply the idea to droplets outside a cold glass.

What understanding looks like

First and final diagrams, written explanations or an explicit unrecorded oral response, review questions opened, support used, revision decision and reason, and the cold-glass response. Rubric: scientific process, agreement between diagram and words, revision reasoning, and application. Scientific reasoning awaits educator review; completion does not establish independent mastery.

Adaptation

Different starting points. A shared objective.

Concept cards and process labels are available from the start. Offer optional vocabulary, sentence starters, and an example; record support used. Text-view editing and unrecorded oral responses provide alternative routes.
