Drop Zone Dispatch
A heavy parcel and a light parcel. Which arrives first?

The learner experience
A little curiosity. A lasting understanding.
Predict and investigate three required comparisons: different-mass parcels without air, then flat and crumpled paper with and without air. Optionally explore paper drops from 1, 2 or 3 metres. Choose packaging for a gentle delivery, explain your observations and predict a new pair of falling objects.
Imagine this moment
Equal-mass paper shapes fall differently with air. Use the model to choose a compact package or an open canopy and aim for a landing speed at or below 2.5 m/s.
Learning & evidence
The learning objective
Distinguish the role of mass from the effects of air resistance in falling objects.
What understanding looks like
Session evidence keeps first predictions, observations, delivery attempts, transfer responses, revisions and assistance separate. Explanations remain unreviewed. Download the evidence locally; completion does not establish mastery.
Adaptation
Different starting points. A shared objective.
Use the equivalent text view, pause or show results without motion, give an unrecorded oral explanation, or open authored hints and a worked example. Optional paper-drop heights extend the investigation.
Educator review
This is a proposed experience. Content and assessment require teacher review before classroom use.
