The learner experience

A little curiosity. A lasting understanding.

Recover a lost invitation in a fictional town. Choose a useful question, interpret a character's reply, and navigate to the location. A later clue requires clarification rather than another guess. Future cases reuse characters while adding vocabulary and language functions.

Imagine this moment

The spoken or written clue becomes a route only after the learner identifies its meaning.

Learning & evidence

The learning objective

Ask for and interpret location information, then clarify an ambiguous direction in the target language.

What understanding looks like

Correct interpretation, a relevant clarification question, and independently composed directions. Voice input is optional; accent similarity is not the objective.

Adaptation

Different starting points. A shared objective.

Offer replay, captions, a glossary, and phrase choices; extend to learner-composed questions and descriptions. Text participation remains available.
